What information do I need when opening an account?

At bitfreezy we just require our clients to provide their basic information. Once the required information with valid documents is provided, the account is verified. Live Trading account is approved and we provide login credentials within a few hours and clients can start trading after the deposit.

How much money do I need to open an account?

For account opening, you do not need to spend any money. Once, you have a live trading account opened, only then you can proceed with a deposit to fund your trading account.

However, there is no minimum requirement, but we recommend you to deposit as low as $100. To avoid the high risk associated with low investment, we highly recommend depositing at least $10,000.

My order was Stop-Out. Why?

Order only gets Stop-Out when the margin level (Equity/Used Margin) of the trading account goes below 30%. This results in triggering a stop-out and your positions will start closing; starting from the most unprofitable.

I am getting a “Trade Context Busy” signal on my trading platform. What does this mean?

This error happens when a trading platform is given additional instruction before it has completed an earlier instruction. This can happen in cases where there have been multiple mouse clicks or a hyperactive Expert Advisor.

After installing MT5 on my Mac, the system blocked application because it came from an “unknown developer” or similar. What should I do?

Apple has changed the security settings to only allow installations from the App Store. To have it working, please go to “System Preferences > Security & Privacy”, and then on the “General” tab, click the little lock in the lower-left corner to unlock the general preference panel. Please select the “Anywhere” option from the menu. Follow this; there should not be any problem in installation.

Why was the swap that I was charged too high?

On Wednesdays, the charge that applies is triple the regular swap. This is made in order to take the weekend into account.

What is the difference between the balance and the equity that appears on my trading platform?

The balance illustrates your closed positions’ Profit/Loss while the Equity is the real-time calculation of Profit/Loss i.e. taking into account both open and closed positions.

The MT5 Live/Demo login shows invalid account/no connection. What do I do?

At the time of market opening and closing as date changes, all products have very low liquidity in the market. Due to this, spreads gets higher, sometimes.

What are the relevant fees per payment method?

bitfreezy does not charge any fees for deposits or withdrawals. Your respective banks or payment providers, however, might charge you any applicable fees.

How do I change my MT5 password?

Can I withdraw funds when I have open positions?

Yes. At bitfreezy you are able to withdraw funds if you have any open positions in your MT5 trading account. Please note that your free margin must exceed the amount specified in the withdrawal instruction including all payment charges. You will not be able to make a request if you have insufficient funds. Following the withdrawal under such conditions, we do not take responsibility for any Stop-Out or any loss in your MT5 trading account.

Which currencies can I use to deposit funds into my trading account?

We offer only USD trading account so we accept funds only in USD currency. In case that you deposit funds in a currency different than USD then it will be converted into the USD currency of your trading account by us at the prevailing rate at the given time.

What document is required for the Proof of Residency?

bitfreezyrequires a utility bill (except mobile) or bank statement dated within the last six months. Alternatively, you can also provide a valid Driving License or any document issued by the Government mentioning your address. Please note that the document which is uploaded for the proof of ID cannot be used for Proof of Residency and vice versa.

How do I open an additional account?

You can open an additional account via the “Client Dashboard”. Click on the “Trading Account” section and then click on the “Add Account” button”.

How will my withdrawal be processed?

You can submit a withdrawal request by logging into “Client Dashboard” and navigate to the Withdraw section. You need to register your Payment Processor Method before so that you can use this method to get your withdrawal.

What are the trading hours?

The Forex trading hours are 24 hours per day, opening on Sunday at 2200 GMT and closing on Friday at 2200 GMT.

The price on the chart is different than the price appearing on my trading terminal. Why?

The chart is based on the Bid price, by default. A Buy position is opened with the Ask price and closed with the Bid price. You have to add the spread on the Bid price to find the Ask price. Therefore the difference in price is due to the spread.

However, you can add the Ask price in the chart by right-clicking on the chart, click on “Properties” in the pop-up menu and then making a tick against “Show ask price line” option in “Show” tab.

I am getting “Re-quotes”. What does this mean?

When there is high volatility in the market, prices are rapidly changing. Under this scenario, we need to offer our clients the new latest market price. In such a case, clients can either accept the new requoting or just reject the new price and cancel the execution of the transaction.

Another possible reason for getting re-quotes could be the possibility of having a slow or bad internet connection which can delay the transmission of orders; implying that on your trading platform you are viewing old prices instead of current market prices.

Do you support Trailing Stops and Expert Advisors?

Our MT5 platform at bitfreezy supports such functionalities. Please be aware that trading operations using additional functions on your client terminals such as Trailing Stop or Expert Advisor are executed completely under your responsibility, as they depend directly on your client trading terminal.

I have placed a take profit order and was triggered with loss. Why?

Please be aware that when Take Profit is set on a long position, it is placed above the prevailing market price. As a result, if you place a Take Profit order after you open a position when it is already making a loss, the take profit will act as a stop loss and your position will be closed with a loss.

I placed a pending order and was deleted. Why?

Your pending order will be deleted from the system if the free margin (Equity – Used Margin) is not enough to cover the margin required for opening the specified pending order.

Why are the buy/sell symbols disabled when I try to place a trade?

If any such thing happens, ensure that you are entering the correct minimum volume for that specific financial instrument.

How can I withdraw my profits?

In order to withdraw, you need to first transfer funds from your MT5 trading account to eWallet. This can be done from the “Internal Transfer” section. Following this, you navigate to the Withdrawal section and place your withdrawal after Adding the Payment Processor method of your choice. Do not hesitate to contact our support team for any assistance.

Why wasn’t my Take Profit triggered, while the chart reached the price I had set?

Please note that Sell positions are closed with the Ask (Buy) price. The price chart shows is the Bid (Sell) price which is lower than the Ask price. You need to add the spread to the price that you see in the chart in order to get the Ask price. Therefore, you must make sure that the market price really reached the Take Profit price.

Why is your spread so high on EURUSD/GBPUSD (e.g. over 10)?

Please note that we are using fractional pips pricing in order for the client to benefit from rounding. Instead of 4 decimal places, we use 5 and therefore the 10 you see is actually 1.0 pip.

Does the Company offer negative balance protection?

The Company offers negative balance protection to all clients as part of the Agreement with a client as long as it is not manipulated. The interests of our clients are our primary objective therefore, we ensure that clients may never lose more than their total deposits. However, we provide this on our sole discretion and we recommend our clients not to rely on this while executing their trading strategy

What is a leveraged trading position?

When traders are offered leverage, they can control larger positions with a smaller amount of funds. For example, a trader is offered 1:200 leverage, which means a trader can control a position of worth $200 with just $1 in his trading account. When leverage is used, expected profits can be much bigger than your expectations, and the same is also true for expected losses.
